Biography

From childhood, Patricia Reyes González found refuge in art. Surrounded by family members deeply involved in painting, she learned that colors could be the voice of the soul. However, it was during her battle with cancer that art became her most powerful medicine. Amid the silence, the hours of solitude, and the fear, painting transformed into a way to heal and be reborn.

A self-taught visual artist of Cuban origin based in Miami, Patricia combines acrylics, collages, and natural elements, creating works that explore the interplay between the spiritual and the earthly. Her pieces reflect faith, resilience, and the joy of living. Each texture, each color, represents a fragment of her soul: the before and after of her transformation.

Her motto, “There is no such thing as no,” is the essence that drives each of her creations. Patricia paints to remind the world that there is always a new opportunity, that life, even in its fragility, can be a celebration full of hope.

Artistic Statement
My art is a testament to faith and healing. I paint to transform my emotions into light, my silences into color, and my scars into beauty. Through landscapes, sunsets, and natural textures, I seek to inspire others to believe that even from pain, new life can be born.
